The Band

The Erupted are a heavy/thrash metal band formed by members from Athens & Thessaloniki, Greece. The band was originally formed in 2008 from Loukas Liatopoulos (drums) and George Saddler (vocals), after the changes that were made in band's line up during 2014 new members consisted, Alex Stroumtsas (guitar), Stavros Bathrellos (bass) & Fotis Panetsos (guitar).

Back at the band’s history you can find plenty of live performances and several anticipations in live gig contests, festivals, music radio broadcastings and interviews in internet and radio stations.

Burn down the flights

The front cover and booklet is designed by Remedy Art Design (Giannis Nakos).

During the December of year 2013 the band recorded and fulfilled all the preparations that were needed in order to complete the first E.P. album (5 tracks) with title “Burn down the flights”.

The concept was based in personal experiences, influenced by each member’s personal music hearings all mixed in a unique sound and style, the recordings, mixing & mastering came to be erupted in CAVE STUDIOS in Athens.

The band’s photo shooting and the booklet is based upon photographs that were taken in the former National airport in Ellinikon by Panos Kefalos Photography.

From left to right the line up was formed back then by Mike Giaxalis (guitars), Loukas Liatopoulos (drums), George Saddler (lyrics), Thanasis Margaritis (bass).

Society zero

The band today has just finished a single track called “Society zero”.

For a second time in a raw the front cover and booklet is designed by Remedy Art Design (Giannis Nakos).

Music is dressed in the mood of the daily struggle in the society that we live in, through the lyrics we express our feelings and we share thoughts and questions of the future, and we pass a spark of light that can turn to a flame of a bright future for the better days we long & dream to live.

The recordings took place in music studios in Athens and Thessaloniki

Guitars and bass were recorded in Mass Room Studio, Thessaloniki. (Andreas Asimakopoulos)

Drums were executed in Made in Hell studios in Moschato, Athens. (David Prudent)

Vocals, editing-mixing and mastering were done in CAVE STUDIOS, Athens. (Steve Verano)

The band’s photo shooting is followed again by Panos Kefalos Photography, the photograph were taken in the former “Bat city Club”.

Also this single release is accompanied by our firstborn video clip. In this first attempt we were supported by close friends that are in the scene of video clips, documentaries and short films.

They embraced the idea of a solid video of the band performing in modern ruins and decorated our music notes and lyrics with physical effects and photographs that were taken during past recent situations in the heart of the crisis that the country faced.
